About Dr. Jou
C. Jerry Jou, DO, PhD considers it a privilege and honor to care and advocate for patients with congenital heart disease. He practices medicine of pediatric cardiology with the approach that the physician-patient interaction is a human relationship that requires honesty and cultivation.

He treats every patient like he / she is part of the family. He believes every patient should be treated with empathy, compassion, honesty and respect. With these basic human values, the best care can be optimally delivered to ones who need help and for the ill who needs to heal.

Dr. Jou is board certified in pediatric cardiology. He has more than 10 years of pediatric cardiology experience. He has previously practiced at Salt Lake City, Utah, Boise, Idaho, and Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Jou is proficient in noninvasive imaging, such as transthoracic echocardiography, ECG / rhythm monitor interpretation and arrhythmia management. Dr. Jou has special interests in the genetics of congenital heart diseases.
